Job Description:

Your new job covers the software development for PLC systems for laboratory automation. You will both take over existing projects and contribute with conceptional ideas to future GeSiM products.

Your tasks:

  • Development, advancement, maintenance, and documentation of software for the PLC of our instrument lines
  • Adaptation of PLC software to specific research applications
  • Maintenance of project documentation

Your profile/experiences:

  • Master degree in engineering or similar qualification, we encourage Master students to apply
  • A good knowledge of software development for PLC based on TwinCAT3.1 (Structured Text)
  • Alternatively, good knowledge of software development for PLC based on CODESYS
  • Good skills of programming language C# and C++ as well as knowledge of CANopen- Fieldbus systems would be beneficial.
